Someone posted a song lyric that said "Mi fili, veni, veni, veni, mi fili" and the translation said "My children, come, come, come, my children." Huh?! Fili isn't children! The correct translation is "my sons, come, come, come, my sons." I'm not sure if veni here is in the past tense or if it's a command. It sounds better as a command though ( Read more... )

My classes right now are communication applications (speech), team sports (gym), Latin 3 and English 4. Speech is...scary...I already have to do a speech Wednesday!! I'm sooo glad it's only 9 weeks.
